The Akransas Prevention Needs Assessment (APNA) is a comprehensive measurement survey designed to assess adolescent substance use and related behaviors, and risk and protective factors that predict these behaviors. APNA Surveys are conducted annually in all Izard County School Districts in 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th grades. Access to APNA data provides our coalition with valuable data that helps pinpoint target areas of need within our county and to track emerging trends among our youth.
